Abstract
Durante este año 2010 tuvieron lugar en el Ecuador distintas movilizaciones indígenas ante coyunturas como los proyectos de Ley de Minería y la Ley de Aguas, reflejando tensiones relacionadas con la expedición de normativas que reglamentan el aprovechamiento y la administración de los recursos naturales. En el pasado mes de junio, manifestantes de comunidades y pueblos indígenas se apostaron en las afueras del sitio donde se realizaba la Cumbre del Alba, en Otavalo, para hacer escuchar sus voces no alineadas con las políticas gubernamentales.
