Abstract
“Actores sociales y alternativas de coordinación para el desarrollo territorial” es una obra que reúne una serie de estudios sociales con un enfoque territorial, lograda gracias al esfuerzo colectivo de estudiantes y docentes de posgrado de tres instituciones académicas del Sur y Occidente de México. El libro ofrece al lector información detalladas de investigaciones empíricas que relatan las experiencias de actores locales que se interrelacionan y coordinan para confrontar diversas problemáticas que impone la globalización capitalista; ya sea a través de mecanismos que buscan propiciar formas alternativas de desarrollo o generar vías alternativas al desarrollo para mejorar las condiciones de vida de ciertos grupos sociales, o bien para reivindicar saberes y epistemologías -del sur- que son escasamente reconocidas por la racionalidad moderna. Propone, con tales experiencias, comprender los procesos de configuración de los territorios desde una mirada que no solo observa cómo actores hegemónicos imponen instituciones, reglas y normas que rigen la vida socioeconómica y productiva, sino también cómo los actores locales, desde un ámbito cotidiano, las adaptan, resisten e incluso rechazan.
