Influencia de variables sociodemográficas, socioeducativas y sociolaborales en la conciencia ambiental y el consumo responsable

Resumen

Introducción: los patrones alimenticios han cambiado de manera significativa, y hoy están determinados por la conciencia ambiental y la preferencia por un consumo responsable. Objetivo: bajo esta premisa se desarrolla el presente artículo, el cual tiene por objetivo determinar si las variables sociodemográficas (sexo, edad, estado civil, lugar de residencia), socioeducativas y sociolaborales tienen influencia tanto en la conciencia ambiental como en el consumo responsable. Metodología: para ello, se determina una muestra de 237 consumidores de la Red Agroecológica del Austro (RAA) y 237 de AgroAzuay, dos de las ferias agroecológicas más representativas de la ciudad de Cuenca, Ecuador. Para analizar los datos se aplica la prueba ANOVA de una vía en el software estadístico SPSS. Conclusiones: con estas condiciones, los resultados de la investigación indican que las variables sexo, nivel de educación y situación laboral influyen significativamente en la conciencia ambiental, mientras que el sexo, edad, lugar de residencia y situación laboral afectan representativamente al consumo responsable.
